Thanks for joining us in our quest to make Salesforce Job Code easier to write, run, and manage! Now that you're here, how can you start getting the value?!
Step 1: Run the Compliance Monitor
If you haven't done it yet, you should run the Compliance Monitor. This will create your first inventory of jobs (the ones that already exist). Here's how:
Click on the Jobs List tab, at the top of the application. You should see four "System Jobs." The first one will be the compliance Monitor, and it should be pre-selected (you can tell because its details will be on the right side of the screen). Just click the Run Now button at the top right corner of the screen and that is it!
A "Toast Message" (I know, strange name) will appear, confirming that you've successfully run the job. Nice work!
If you have a very large number of Apex Classes in your org, the job may take a little longer to run, but you can check it out on your own, by going to the Live Stream tab. You'll see how the job performed and what classes it found along the way.
One the Compliance Monitor is complete, jump back to the Jobs List and you will see that new jobs have magically appeared in Job Center (How many will depend on you!)
That's it. With just a few clicks, you have populated your org with all known job classes on your system.
